| I fondly remember Mrs Bugher as she was one of
my teachers many years ago in Noble. Not many of my teachers stand out
especially as much as she does. Mrs Bugher is absolutely one of my favorite
teachers. It's a great testament to a person's life when you are remembered in
such a way that the memories stand out after 30 years. My sincerest condolences
for your (and our)loss. |

| I had the pleasure of meeting Judy through her
daughter Laura, a childhood friend of my best friend. They would tell me of
their days at Noble when Judy was a teacher there. I could see right away when
I met her she had a fantastic sense of humor. There was an air of calm and
great patience about her. She touched the lives of many people that passed
through her classroom. I know this because a handful of her older students are
good friends of mine. They always speak highly of her and they are the finest
people I know. She was a great person and exceptional teacher. She inspired
her students and gave them the tools they needed to see if they came upon rocks
in the road instead of stumbling blocks use them as stepping stones. She was a
strong, compassionate person with a fantastic sense of humor who inspired many
and will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to your family. |

I am so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. She may have told you I spoke with her
back in late January when we were trying to get folks to the Southern Naz games.
I had just spoken with a young mother who sounded under the weather and when I
asked Judy if she was ill, she told me about her longtime struggles. We put her
on the Wayland prayer list so her name has been before the Lord regularly. Our
prayers continue to be with you. Your name is probably the first Pioneer player
I recall. I started Wayland in 1967 and was sports editor of The Plainview Daily
Herald from 1970-78 and editor from 1978-2006 before taking over the job Joe
Provence held for 23 years.
Grace and peace....

last class in 2003-2004. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. |

Mrs. Bugher was my fourth grade teacher in Noble many years ago. I will never
forget her spunky and energetic approach to teaching in our classroom, which
must have been something like herding cats. She had an infectious smile and made
learning fun. I can still remember laughing with her often.
More than just my teacher, Mrs. Bugher was my birthday bud. I remember sharing
our May 4th birthday near the end of my schoolyear with her. She was a joy and
I'm sorry to hear of her passing. Teachers like Mrs. Bugher are few and far
between. I have no doubt that countless others like myself will remember her
fondly for many years to come.
Sincerely,
Michael Bendure |
