| Patti will be so missed by so many people --
but rest assured she is an angel who is organizing, encouraging, inspiring,
assisting, decorating, leading. Your family was so fortunate to have her. She
certainly meant a lot to me. |
Angela Murray (Woodard), Choctaw/OK
| For my once Seminole family, I am so sorry for
your loss. I just received last fall an email from Patti telling me stories of
our childhood. Elizabeth you and I had so many great memories with our moms, my
love and prayers are with you and your entire family. |
| Sandy Ragan, Boerne, Texas | I worked with Patti for several years in Phi Beta Kappa. In her capacity as
treasurer, she was an invaluable help to the Scholarship Committee as we
deliberated each year about available funds. Patti knew everything! And she
was completely unselfish in giving of her talent and time. What a dedicated
woman!
I remember her with such fondness and appreciation. And I am so sad to learn of
her loss. I send my condolences to Fred and her family and to the entire OU and
Norman community. |
Max N. Berry, Washington, D.C.
| Dear Fred:
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel in my heart about Patti’s passing. As I
told you on the telephone today, she was such an outstanding person in every
way. I remember her as a dynamic student leader on the campus of Oklahoma
University who excelled in everything that she pursued. It was a pleasure to
know her. My fondest memories are of the two of you in Washington, D.C. and the
many special moments we had concerning “Harris, Berry and Gipson,” “The East
West Trade Council,” “The Senate office of Senator Fred Harris,” and the many
personal dinners and experiences which we all enjoyed together. It is my hope
that these fond memories which you, no doubt, have in your mind and heart, plus
your faith in G-d, and your wonderful supportive family, will help you overcome
your grief in the days ahead. I know you are a strong person, and I very much
hope that we can get together when I attend the International Programs Center
meeting on the campus in April.
Heidi joins me in expressing our deepest sympathy to you. Our thoughts and
prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Love,
Max |

Norman. Rochelle and I send our heartfelt condolences to Fred and the family. |

| I was privileged to work closely with Patti
when I served as president of the Alpha of Oklahoma chapter of Phi Beta Kappa
several years ago. In my interactions with her as treasurer she was full of
creative ideas, vigor and good humor. She made things fun through her very
participation. We will miss her greatly |
