Dear JoAnn and family,

After learning of the passing of Daryl.  I wanted to express my most sincere condolences to you and your family.  After suddenly losing Ralph 18 months ago, I genuinely understand the devastation your family is going through.  May your family be blessed with the strength you will receive from your family and friends and be comforted by our Heavenly Father.

We all know that at some point we will lose our parents, but when that day comes, it still is hard.  Your mother, Alma was such a nice lady.  I'm sure you will embrace all the fine memories you have of her.

God's Blessings to you,  Linda Kepka Kohls

I wanted to say that Daryl made my days here at the University better.  Him and I would joke and carry on every time he would bring something into the office for me to handle.  I thank GOD that I had the opportunity to meet and have him in my life.  May GOD Bless

I just wanted to express my sincerest sympathy and condolences to Daryl's family.
I met Daryl ten years ago and found him a kindred spirit with our love of OU football. I will miss our daily discussions on the state of Sooner football and other sports. Buchanan Hall will be an emptier building without
Daryl's presence. I am honored to know that Daryl considered me a friend and will miss him very much. May God and peace be with you during this difficult time.

Sincerely, Bob Campbell, Norman, OK

Dear Mehls,

Our family will always remember the many good times we shared with your family. We had such great fun during the Crimson Thread days. Daryl was such a great help loading and unloading the CT gear as we traveled from show to show. Plus Daryl and Russ and I always enjoyed finding the free food at the CT shows! We'll miss him. He was my buddy. Heaven has a good man on board. May our Lord Jesus cover your family with his Peace and Love during this difficult time. God Bless him and the Mehls always. Dear JoAnn and family---I just wanted to send you personally our sympathy upon the sudden lose of Daryl as well as the loss of your Mom.  I know the days ahead will not be easy for any of you.  I know Daryl was a good man just like he was a good friend and classmate in our high school days.  I will also always remember your mom with fondness as we always visited when she could about how you and your family was doing over the years.  Remember, The Lord has His own plan and someday we will understand.  I pray God will grant you His blessed comfort and love at this time and in the days ahead.  Our deepest sympathy.  Lois ( Anschutz) Wenz and family

Dear Mehl Family,  I just wanted you to know that Daryl's Funeral was beautiful with the celebration of his life.  Daryl was the type of person that was full of life.  He always presented himself in a positive way, always smiling and such a people person. He had a ora about him that was special. I consider myself privileged to have known him. He is one that you can never replace and he will be sorely miss.  God Bless you.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Sincerely, Sherri Kish
