Jeff was a resident that I assisted with at
Rambling Oaks. He truly enjoyed telling stories of his past. He missed working
and owning his business and was proud of his time in the service. He always
said he enjoyed everything he had done. He always liked my red hair as his wife
had the same. I am very priviledged to have known and taken care of Jeff. My
memories of his will be with me for a long time. He is one person that will be
missed terribly.

Jennings Family,
My heart goes out to your family. I have such fond memories of him. Every time
we went by their house during our Sulphur trips he would let my brother and I
"help" him with that HAM radio. He was very kind to include us children in his
adventure. I have many other memories but that surely stands out as the
strongest.
Love to you all,
Jennifer Harp

Jeff was a friend to my folks at Rambling
Oaks. He took charge of the Exercise Class they went to. Jeff was also a good
friend to my brother, Zandy. Zandy is mentally handicapped but enjoys life, and
I brought him out to Rambling Oaks for the Exercise Class. He would go up to
Jeff and put his hands on his face. At first Jeff didn't know how to take
Zandy's affection, but then they got used to each other. Jeff would make a
really big deal about Zandy touching him with "cold hands", making Zandy smile.
We went to see Jeff a couple of times over at Brookhaven, and we enjoyed talking
with him and seeing him. He was a very fine man, and my family was blessed to
know him and have the opportunity to be around him.
