My dear Papaw,
I am so thankful that we were able to visit with you several times in April when
we drove down to see Haskell for Austin Ray. Both Austin and Ryan enjoyed
talking with you about living next door when they were younger. Austin was
looking forward to driving down to Norman and visiting with you when he had
breaks from college. I am so grateful for the time we spent together when I
moved my family right next door to you and Grammy in 1994. We made some
wonderful memories that will live in my heart forever. You were not only my
Papaw, but were also a second dad to me after my daddy died. You were always
there to give me a hug, tell me you loved me, and to let me ride in your big
truck and talk on the CB radio. I often think of those times and the kindness
you showed me. I will truely miss you and the jokes you used to tell. I am
content and my heart is warmed to know that you are now in heaven with Grammy,
my dad and uncle Joe. I bet you are all having a bowl of Grammy's famous b
rown beans right now. I will keep you in my heart and prayers forever.
Love, Shannon

Sherrie, Seana and I have very fond memories
of your father. He was always such a joy to be around and was a very caring and
kind man. Both the girls and I were saddened to read about his passing, but
know that he is in a heaven with his "beautiful bride". Our thoughts and
prayers are with you and your family.

Just wanted you to know I am so sorry you have lost your dad, and grand dad.
I know he is in a better place.
My prayers for you all is to be able to get to a place where your thoughts of
him will be replacing the sadness you are feeling now.
Cuber hugs from Las Vegas,
