| My husband and I will always remember Dan as
having a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. I can’t remember once
seeing him without that endearing smile. I know Dan lived his life with an
attitude of joy each and every day. I have many wonderful memories of times we
spent with Dan, and I will never forget him. His passing is truly a loss to all
of us. We are shocked by his sudden death and will miss him. Our deepest
condolences go out to his children and his family.

| I deeply regret that Danny and I didn't stay
in touch over the years. Danny was my best friend in High School and we spent
most of our time out of school together. Danny was there for me through the
toughest days of my life and even though life took us in different directions, I
will miss him greatly. I can only wonder what kind of friendship we could have
had as adults had we remained a part of each other's lives. I have often thought
of Danny and I can still see his infectious smile. I am so glad to know that he
came to know the Lord and I know that he is worshipping at His feet today. I
thank God for the blessing that Danny was to my life and I know that he will be
terribly missed by those who were fortunate to know him and be a part of his
life. My deepest sympathy goes to his daughters and those he loved. |

| Dan and I became friends at age 12 and he
become more brother than friend. We never let tough times come between us for
the last 28 years. No matter what life threw at me he could make me laugh with a
few words and a solid slap on the back. We shared so many good times goose
hunting or duck hunting that I'll carry with me throughout my lifetime and
certainly everytime I'm outdoors. He would want me to share a little humor I
think so here goes... I'll never forget that time goose hunting in the rain in
dug pits out in a wheat field, everyone was sitting in their little pit nice and
dry but Danny was sitting in water up to his chest and thought that was normal.
After a good soaking of a few hours, he didn't realize water was not suppose
build up in his little pit. Instead of getting upset he just laughed
uncontrollably with the rest of us as he stood up in freezing weather soaked to
the bone as if coming out of a bathtub. I will always hear that laugh and see
that smiling face, it's unforgettable. I also remember working on cars together
both as kids and adults, usually breaking them and throwing wrenches at each
other than actually fixing them. We sure had a good time together playing and
getting into trouble but we also helped each other learn responsiblity. We kept
each other accountable like brothers do. I'll miss him dearly; so Lord take good
care of my friend until we meet again. |

| Sha~
I did not have the opportunity to meet Dan. However, if he was your husband, he
must of been a special man.
I am very sorry for your loss and if I was there you'd get one of my Uncle
Hugs. Take care and you and the girls are in my prayers.

| I still cannot believe you are gone. You will
be greatly missed by many. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness,
a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch or hug, and we may
not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were
ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that
you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful
to forget. You were just like another brother to me..but also a good friend.
You were always so cheerful and happy..such a great testament to your overall
disposition. Your family, children, parents, and all of your many friends will
be in my prayers. |

| This has got to be one of the hardest things I
have ever been called upon to do. Dan you were so full of life and believed that
"anything" was possible if you believed hard enough.....
Dan loved life, his little girls, my daughter and her two little girls....and
what he wanted more then anything else in the world was to build a house around
Sha, Alexis, Gretchen,Taylor and Sophie...and show "his" family off to the
world.
I know that Dan left this world happy....he and Sha were going to look at a 5
bedroom house, the very day, that God came for him.
You were loved Dan and you will be missed.
Diane Prock (Sha's Mom)...but Dan always called me Nana. |
