Online Condolences

Our Deepest Sympathy to all family and friends on the loss of a very talented, caring, and gentle person. Everett made a lasting impression on every person he met. Completely genuine and honest in his interaction with everyone. We feel fortunate to have met and known him. His lasting presence is passed on through his children who share his deep curiosity about this complex and precious time we have in this world. May God bless Everett as he enters the life beyond to continue his journey.

Our warmest wishes of sympathy and love to his wife Sherryl and the entire family.

I am very sad to hear of his passing.  When I was a kid, he was one of the grownups I really looked up to.  May he now rest in deepest peace.  My family and I send our sympathies.

I went to work for Everett (and Joe) straight out of law school.  Everett taught me a lot and helped me avoid many pitfalls.  He was a good man, a true friend, teacher and gentleman, and I will miss him very much.

Not many people pass through our lives that enrich our lives like Everrett did.  Whether it was his music, his stories, his challenge to help the downtrodden, his excitement for the OU Women's Basketball team, he was all about living life to it's fullest. His compassion was legendary and we would encourage all of us to live that legacy. Smile or say a kind word to someone in Everrett's name today.  He's smiling down on us...RIP

It's hard to believe that I won't be seeing Everett's big grin anymore. I practiced law with Everett and Joe for a few years. He was a great teacher and a great person. The world would be a much better place if everyone cared about their fellow man just half as much as Ev.

Sherryl and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.  It is not often that we have friends as unique and talented as Everett and when we lose them, it is impossible to find others to fill that void.  Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel as Everett was a true friend for so many years of my life.
