The Traditional Funeral Service generally includes the
following:
Visitation Period ~ The deceased is present for
viewing. During the viewing period, family and friends may pay their
respects and sign a memorial book. Many families feel that the opportunity
for viewing gives families a sense of closure and helps begin the healthy
grieving process.
Funeral Ceremony ~ This may be conducted at the
church of your choice or at our chapel. The service may be as unique as
the deceased, incorporating music, memorabilia, photographs, remembrance
DVDs or videos, selected readings or poetry chosen by the family.
Committal Service ~ The funeral procession
travels to the cemetery where the final disposition service is conducted
prior to the burial.
Graveside Service ~ A graveside service is
usually a small service held at the gravesite. Visitation prior to the
service may also be arranged.
