Billie Ernestine Tullius

Billie Ernestine Tullius, age 93, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away at Norman Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 6, 2021.

She was born on April 10, 1927, in Noble, Oklahoma, to Ernest and Gertie (McFarland) Ellis.  She married Carol Tullius on September 3, 1945, in Norman, Oklahoma, where they started their life together on the farm and raised two boys.

Ernestine was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and enjoyed many clubs and organizations.  She loved to travel worldwide as well as staying home with friends and playing Chicken Foot.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, Edward Steely of Texas; nephew, R. Michael Ellis of California; and nieces, Janet (Lowery) Shrestha of Texas, Peggy (Lowery) Nale of Tennessee, Letitia (Ellis) Puentes of California and Lisa (Ellis) Campusano of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carol; sons, Jimmy, Richard and Gary; brother, Marshall Ellis; and sisters, Frances Crawford Logan, Betty Lowery and Sharon Steely.
