She had a life-long love of aviation and took aeronautics in high school from her father.  She joined the civil air patrol in 1943 because she wanted to learn to fly. Warren was a pilot as are both sons and a grandson, and her daughter currently works for FAA.

Caroline is survived by her children, James Nauman, Marilee Nauman and husband George Baty, Diana Nauman Williamson and husband Keith and John Nauman and wife Linda; grandchildren, Jesse Nauman, Mathew Nauman, James Nauman, Jr. and wife Savanah, Sara Baty, Katherine Xavier and husband Aaron, Brian Williamson and wife Jamie and Jennifer Stilwell and husband Jeremy; and great grandchildren, Cyana Williamson, Jackson Nauman, Olivia Nauman, Hayden Stilwell and Reilly Stilwell.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren on July 16, 1973; and two sisters, Evelyn Richardson and Jennabell Marie Davenport.
