Kenneth's quite kindness has always touched me. From bringing everyone fried pies at Ryan's state baseball playoffs to coming to see me in the hospital when he wasn't feeling well himself. Even though we only got see each a couple times a year I'm going miss Kenneth, a man of honor and integrity. Rexie Holloway

Uncle Kenneth has always seemed sooo strong & upright & in control. He always looked dignified & handsome. He always made me feel special. I remember wanting him to feel proud of me because I was sure proud of him! When Rexie was in Mercy Hospital last August, Uncle Kenneth was determined to come see him even though he hadn't been leaving his house unless he had to. I even told Aunt Dixie to tell him Rexie wasn't feeling well & couldn't talk much but Uncle Kenneth said he was coming anyway & I am so thankful he did! As I type this, Rexie is in the hospital again. We are both teary eyed, loving & remembering Kenneth. We send our love to Aunt Dixie, Gary, Dale, Dean and families.

Charles Byers was a truly outstanding man. He displayed the finest attributes of a Christian man, and was an excellent role model for others. He lived a long and successful life and was loved and respected by all who knew him. My condolences to Dixie, his sons and their families and to his many friends.

Dear friends and family of Brother Byers, It is with a sad heart I offer up my condolences to you today. As Worshipful Master of Norman Masonic Lodge, it is always a deeply saddening experience when we say goodbye to a family member and brother. I and the members of Norman Lodge #38 will remember Charles and his loved ones in our devotions to The Almighty, and if there is any way we may be of assistance it would be our pleasure to help. Don't hesitate to contact us. God Bless.
