Seeing Dixie's picture just brought back so many wonderful memories of one of the loveliest ladies from my childhood! Dixie was always so warm and welcoming to me and made me feel so at home in her home. Loved her smile and her quick wit! Dixie's tribute was so telling of her - she was certainly dedicated to her kids and her husband and I always admired her so for that! Love to Wendi, Scott and Vicki and Mr. Williamson. You all were very blessed to have such a wonderful mom/wife in your lives!

Dearest Wendi and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences in the passing of your wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother and friend. I always remember Wendi with her sense of humor talking about her sweet mother "Dix" and what she was up to. It was always highly entertaining. These memories take me back to "the college years" in the late 80's. I am just so sorry and my heart is broken for you. Life just is never the same after losing your lifelong friend . I hope that you will continue her legacy of love , laughter and family devotion. Sending you prayers, peace, love and hope.

Dixie Williamson
How do you describe a person, that is always something that is a challenge. Do you comment on their many qualities or what they achieved or simply who they we're? With Dixie it is not that hard, she was a wonderful person, always giving of her time and thought. A mother of 3 a grandmother of 5 and one fantastic mother-in-law. I was lucky enough to marry her youngest daughter Vicki. I knew Dixie for more than 24 years.

You hear of the crazy stories of mother-in-law well mine was the best. She was quick with a smile, food or just company to sit and talk with. She and I had a lasting relationship filled with jokes and memories. I remember the first time we met, i was invited to she and Mike's house for a party that Vicki and some of her college friends were having. I was standing in the back yard talking to her when a bird decided to leave me with a gift on my sholder. She just looked and laughed and said well at least it was not in your drink. That was the way it was between tge two of us we just joked ans had a good time.
I always loved her laugh. It was the kind that just made you smile.

She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother and will be missed by all. Thank you Dixie for all you gave to us all
