Jane Elizabeth Feddern Price, 80, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 11th at the Havenbrook Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 AM, Monday, February 12th at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street in Norman.


Jane was born on September 14, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Tydfil (Griffiths) and Edward Carl Feddern. She graduated Upper Darby (Pa.) High School in 1955. She attended Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia. Her grandmother, mother, aunt, and twin sister were all graduates of this school of nursing. She then went to St. Joseph’s College in Maine and graduated with a Bachelors of Nursing in 1983. Jane received her Masters of Business Administration from Ohio University in 1987. Her career spanned roles from operating room nurse at Presbyterian Hospital and hospital management at Norman Regional Hospital and Manor Care Nursing Home. She finished her career at Heartland Hospice in 2015. One of her proudest memories was serving on one of the first surgical teams performing open heart surgeries practicing for up to 3 weeks prior to each operation. Jane loved to create needlepoint, some projects taking up to a year to complete. She enjoyed family gatherings to plan meals and test new recipes. She was also a member the Newcomers of Norman and several bridge and bunco groups.


Jane is survived by her daughter, Pam; son Mark; granddog, Baxter; three brothers, Ed, Dave, and Richard. She is preceded in death by her parents and twin sister Ottilie Seaton.
