Kathy and I went to IDCI together. We did everything together; we told each other our teenage secrets; we were best friends. When my family moved to Renfrew County at the end of grade 10 we wrote to each other and Kathy made a visit or two, but ultimately we just drifted apart. I made a few online attempts to find her over the years but I wasn’t successful until this time. I’m so sorry.
I know there is nothing I can tell you that you don’t know about Kathy, but I can confirm that even as teenager she was, first and foremost, kind and thoughtful, she was really smart, she was fun loving and fun and mostly she was a good, good person. I am so sorry this happened.
I have a 4 pictures of Kathy from back in high school. I would be happy to scan and share them with you if you would like them. I would just need an email address.

We are saddened by Kathy's passing. She has been a very positive part of all of our lives, always a wonderful person who added brightness and a smile to wherever she went. We will miss her. Rick Cheel, Greg Finn, Frank Fueten and Francine McCarthy.
