BARNARD, Lewis “Bee”, 81, of Noble, OK went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Bee was born on July 15, 1935 in Norman, OK to Ocie and Nadine Barnard. Bee lived in Norman and at the age of 17 he joined the National Guard and served full time for 43 years.
Bee married his first wife, Bonnie Mallory, and they had two daughters, Karen and Sandra. In 1995 he married Gloria Bueno from San Antonio, TX. Gloria had three sons, one daughter and many grandchildren whom Bee considered his own and loved very much.
Bee loved to go to Montana with his friend to hunt for elk and to Colorado to fish. He and Gloria also loved to go to the Norman Moose Lodge which he was a member.
Bee is survived by his loving wife, Gloria of the home; four brothers: Alvin, Leon, Charles and J.C.; extended Grandchildren: Andrew, Jeremy, Selina, Yvette, Karina, Robert, Gina and Roland; three extended Great-Grandchildren: Selah-Gloria, Gior and Aubrey; a special nephew, Ernie and many other family members and friends. Bee was preceded by his first wife, Bonnie; his parents; three brothers and two daughters: Karen and Sandra.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 3-8 pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Blackburn Cemetery, Norman, OK conducted by the U.S. Army Chaplain and Military Honors Team. Services are under the care of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
