Lucille Noles

February 23, 1924 ~ January 27, 2017 (age 92) 92 Years Old
Mattie Lucille Noles went to be with her Lord, January 27, 2017. She was born to Henry and Verna Herrell on February 23, 1924, in Wilson, Oklahoma where she grew up with younger brother Jim Herrell. Lucille married Cecil Noles and they had two sons, Danny and Tommy, and lived in many places before settling in Lindsay, Oklahoma, where she raised her sons with the help of her wonderful mother, Verna. Dan and Tom were active in sports and after high school Dan played football at the University of Oklahoma and Tom at Oklahoma State University. Lucille followed the boys all over the state and country during their athletic careers and certainly was their biggest fan. Lucille owned and operated “Lucille’s Beauty Shop” on Main Street in Lindsay for forty years and was a very successful businesswoman and community leader. After retiring, she moved to Norman, Oklahoma where she lived until her death. Lucille was a devoted member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lindsay where she played the piano and organ, and was a member of the gospel quartet. Her relationship with God was a tremendous influence and inspiration on her entire family. As a result of her daily walk with Christ, she was a beautiful person inside and out and a true testimony through her commitment and faithfulness. Lucille’s greatest passion and accomplishment was her family whom she loved unconditionally with patience and understanding. We will all miss her greatly. Lucille is survived by son, Dan Noles and wife Nancy; son Tom Noles and wife Roxanne; grandchildren Jeannie and husband Todd Vinson; Jade Noles and wife Angie; Jamie and husband Nate Bobbett; Sarah and husband Daylon Eads; Lindsay and husband Jarod Guier; Tommy Noles and wife Haley; Great Grandchildren Mattie, Ellie, Avery and Murphy Vinson; Dax, Crew and Luke Noles; Kate, Tess, Brooklyn, Brinley and Axel Bobbett; Parker and Emma Eads; Shaun, Reese and Brandt Guier; Paisley and Sunny Noles.
