May your hearts continue to be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May Our Lord's Christ Jesus' promise of a resurrection, strengthen your hearts until the day when death is no more, and honest-hearted ones will see lost loved ones once again (John 5:28, 29). In the meantime, may your memories, and the love and support of dear family and friends comfort you.

I treasure the memories we made together over the years--shopping trips to Chico's, lunches at Panera, and late night talks about life experiences. I loved all the times I was invited to her home to share the sumptuous meals she prepared for her friends and family, and I was privileged enough to be her house guest for a few months in 2015. She was gracious and kind, and she loved to laugh. Mary Jane loved her family and friends, and she was loved by everyone in her life. Heaven has a new angel.

I was unable to attend the service for your mother and I was very sorry. I want you to know that she was a special person in my life. Although I had't seen her in a few years, I always thought about her every Sunday in church. We all should be so lucky to have such a beautiful tribute written about us by our children!

The loss of this great lady is felt in many ways by all who knew her. Not unlike my friend Barbara's memories, I recall with great appreciation the 'lighthouse' smile that always welcomed in the School of Drama, and in later years her 'presence' in other areas of life.
Her positive attitude, open acceptance of all she met and natural sense of caring and support were as much like her as her picture. She was a good friend and a positive influence and will be sadly missed and wonderfully remembered.

Loving, caring, funny, sweet, loyal. One can keep just putting down the positives about Maryjane. That's who she was. I miss those days when she used to come visit my Mom. They had such a special friendship. Maryjane just oozed love and compassion. There is a big love void on earth now that she's in heaven. God Bless.

I was so saddened to hear of Mary Jane's passing. She was one of those very special people that you meet during those formative college days.
When I was a drama student at OUMary Jane was the Dean's (Nat Eek's) secretary. She was essentially the gatekeeper for the many people and students needing assistance.
She was always always gracious, kind, attentive and caring. She would assist you and then be certain to mention how much she enjoyed your work and how well you were doing In the Drama School. She was always an encouraging presence.

I had the pleasure of seeing her and catching up a few times when I return visit family in Norman.
She of course always wanted to know how I was and what I was doing.

One of those very special people…
