We moved to Oklahoma in '06 and Neva and George were our neighbors. I don't think it took Neva 5 minutes to welcome us. Out the front door she came with her first words being, "Are you Methodists?!" They were special people. Adorable people. We miss you both!

I was sad to read about Neva's recent passing and to also learn of George's passing in 2010. George & Neva were good friends of my husband, Leo and me. We became friends when George built our home on our farm in 1968. George and I had a good time teasing each other during the construction of our home. He was always in good humor and ready for a laugh. Leo and I saw them from time to time when we were in Norman but had not seem either of them for some time. Norman has lost two good friends.

I am very sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is a very difficult situation to endure. However, the bible states, in Acts 24:15: "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." In other words, there is hope in the future for your loved one to be resurrected. This is very comforting because we and our loved one will be able to reunite with us.
