Alcenia 'Simone' Ruth (Simon) Wright

Alcenia 'Simone' Ruth Wright, age 78, passed away November 16, 2019. She was born September 16, 1941, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to the late Ford and Ruth Simon. Alcenia was a veteran of the U.S Air Force. Her hobbies included reading, bird watching, collecting gems, word search puzzles, gardening and cooking for family and friends. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Wright on January 1, 2003; one brother, Norman Simon; one sister, Alena Simon; and one great grandson, Mason Lane. 

Survivors include her two sons, Douglas Wright and wife Lisa, and Jerry Wright; two daughters, Suzanne Davis and Annette Richardson; one sister, Phyllis Howell and husband Ronnie; eight grandchildren, Sabrina Scroggins, Samantha Ostrander, Douglas Wright II, Tabatha Wright, Brandon Wright, Schandi Miller, Scheri Kaste and Peyton Richardson; and nine great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Blanchard Cemetery.
