Amy Kenyan Fisher Wood

Amy Kenyan Fisher Wood, age 49, of Norman, passed away on July 17, 2020, at 9:08 a.m.  She was born on June 15, 1971, in Oklahoma City, to Kenneth and Dee (Glenn) Fisher.  Amy grew up in Norman, graduated from Norman High School and attended City College.  She worked for Norman Public Schools and was in healthcare for many years.  Amy was a member of Timber Creek Fellowship Church where she sang in the choir.

She will be remembered for her great love of her family and friends.  Amy loved helping people, and she enjoyed fishing and shooting.  She was a strong Christian warrior who battled through liver cancer, open heart surgery and a liver transplant.  She was so strong and kept her faith through all her trials.

Amy was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Benefield.  She is survived by her husband, Roy Wood; her children, Ashley Wood and Greyson Wood; her mother, Dee Fisher; her father, Ken Fisher; and her brother, Chris Fisher.
