Andy Wilson

Andy expressed his happiness to those that loved him on his final day in this life, which ended on a sunny afternoon, the second day of May in 2021.  Andrew Paul Wilson was born in Norman, Oklahoma, late in the evening on the second day of July in 1997, to proud parents who welcomed their second child into the world.  In his all too brief life, Andy taught us what it means to love unconditionally and the importance of embracing happiness in those moments where we find it just as he helped us learn to grieve, forgive, and be forgiven.  From Andy’s earliest days to his final day, he was a unique individual, unflinchingly carving his own path through life with a propensity for self-determination and steadfastness to his decisions.  Andy will be remembered as a young man of great empathy, kindness, intelligence, wit, and an engaging blue-eyed smile.

Andy was preceded in death by his mother, Cheri Callahan.  He is survived by his father, Dave Wilson; brother, Owen Wilson; sisters, Christina Callahan and Finn Callahan; stepfather, Sam Callahan; and the love of his life and partner of seven years, Chloe Vandevelde.

A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at his childhood home located at 2015 Trailview Court, Norman, OK  73072.  All are welcome to attend.  If you attend the celebration but are not fully vaccinated, please wear an appropriate face covering for your safety as well as others in attendance.
