October 25, 1928 ~ August 6, 2021 (age 92) 92 Years Old

Tribute

 

Antonieta R. 'Tony' Brannon passed on August 6, 2021, in Norman, OK.  Born in Quintero, Chile, on October 25, 1928, she married Anderson 'Andy' Gaddis Brannon on January 31, 1947.  Andy preceeded her in death in 2002.  Tony loved her family and Furbaby, and enjoyed spending time with them.  Her favorite activities included cooking and baking, and casino games.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Soledad and her husband Roger Harmon of Norman; daughter, Teri and her husband Jim Walker of Norman; son, Andy and his wife Gloria Brannon of Norman; son Carlos and his wife Pam Brannon of Ada.  She had nineteen grandchildren: granddaughter, Jami and her husband Chris Gillpatrick of Katy, TX; grandson, Mark and his wife Jenny Brannon of Norman; grandson, Anderson Brannon, III of Del City; granddaughter, Samantha and her husband Ryan Suchala of Dallas, TX, granddaughter, Skye and her husband Charles Lucking of Phoenix, AZ; grandson, Zachary and his wife Ambrel Brannon of McKinney, TX; Joey Brannon of Haughton, LA; April Rogers and Edwin Acuna of Norman; Jacinta Rogers and Adam Long of Thornton, CO; Joel and Crystal Rogers of Choctaw; and Richard Pogorelc of Shawnee.  Her fifteen great-grand children include: Brooke and Boston Gillpatrick; Taylor, Lily, and Ben Brannon; Jake Brannon; Joseph, Brannon and Walt Suchala; Cormac and Moxi Lucking; Brixten and Braxlee Brannon; Austin Rogers, and Emma Long. 

 

Tony also has many family members from the Daza family throughout Chile, her home country, and many Brannon family members living throughout the United States.

 

Tony worked at Norman Regional Hospital in the Food Services and Housekeeping departments for a few years, and was Manager of Sooner Bowl Grill for many years, a job she really enjoyed and was very good at.

In lieu of flowers or food the family requests that donations be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter of Norman
