Arlena Feye Bennett

Arlena Feye Bennett, age 88, of Noble, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022.  She was born June 9, 1933, in Walters, Oklahoma to the late Walter and Irene Bruemmer.  On March 8, 1951, she married the love of her life, Ralph Bennett.  They were married for 65 years until Ralph’s death in September of 2016.

Arlena enjoyed playing Sudoku, baking and cooking-making everything from scratch.  She made the best cinnamon rolls you ever tasted!  Arlena was an excellent seamstress and sewed clothing for her husband and children.  She also loved to fish and spent many happy weekends at the lake fishing.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Norman.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

 Arlena is survived by her three daughters, Denice Gatewood and her husband Otis, Caralyn Bullock, and Lila Murphree and her husband Robert; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, Ralph, Arlena was preceded in death by her son, Steven Bennett; grandson, Kennith Taylor; two brothers; and two sisters.
