Bettie “Boggy” Thomas, of Norman, our deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, died January 3, 2021, at Norman Regional Hospital after a short illness. She was 95. Raised in Maud, she graduated from Ada High School where she met her great love and husband, Jimmie Thomas, living alternately in Ada at Thomas Ranch, and in Norman near family-owned Thomas Concrete Products.
In addition to her husband, Bettie was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Alta Boggan; sister, Mary Blacknall; son, Tim; daughter, Priscilla Thomas Johnson; and son-in-law, Harry Curtis.
She is survived by daughter, Cynthia Curtis; son, Ted Thomas (Mary Ann Roser); grandchildren, Amanda Pettit and Chris Johnson, Clayburn Curtis, Tristin Harper (Jason) and Tanner Thomas (Brittany); and seven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be notified of a possible service later this year.
