Betty Sue Brooks Beavers passed away at her home in Norman, OK, surrounded by her family on Friday, March 10, 2017. She was born in Guthrie, OK on September 13, 1946 to George and Juanita Brooks. Betty moved to Del City, OK when she was two years old, she graduated from Del City High School in 1964 and married her long-time sweetheart Graham "Bud" Beavers Jr on May 7, 1966. She graduated from Rose State College in 1989 and was a legal assistant for several local attorneys. Betty was a wonderful wife and mother; she raised four daughters and three grandchildren who were her life. She was fondest of spending time with family for any occasion including themed birthdays, pool parties/margarita Sunday, any OU Sporting Event especially football & Thunder Basketball. From her birth to her death she nourished people around her with love, support and her smile. Preceded in death are her parents George and Juanita Brooks, her sister Peggy Graham and her brother-in-law Mike Graham. 
Left to honor Betty is her husband Bud, her brother
George and his wife Sherry, her four daughters; Dede Howard and her husband Jim, Brook Beavers and her partner James Schwartz, Bridgette Beavers, Brandi Pershica and her husband Jason, her Grandchildren- Branson Pershica, Carson Pershica and Brooks Beavers-Sanchez along with many cousins, nieces, nephews & those friends she loved as her family. Funeral services will be on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at 1:00pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home, Norman, OK.
