Bobby Gene Heltcel, Jr.

Bobby Gene Heltcel, Jr., 60, passed away September 22, 2019.  He was born July 20, 1959, in Lindsey, Oklahoma, to the late Ida May and Bobby Gene Heltcel, Sr.  Bobby was employed as a supervisor for Johnson Controls for over 12 years.  He was an avid OU Sooners fan and enjoyed golfing and fishing.  He also loved umpiring softball with USSSA.

He is survived by two sons, Chanse Franklin Welch and wife Dawn, Dustin Welch and wife Emily; daughter, Kendra Nichol; four grandchildren, Chanse Jr., Eli, Nickolas and Brooklyn; two brothers, Frankie Heltcel and wife Karen, Michael Heltcel and wife Debbie; two sisters, Doris Covington and husband David, LaDonna Newey; and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Havenbrook Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the funeral home.
