Brandi Nichole Winblood

Brandi Nicole Winblood, age 50, of Norman, passed away March 16, 2022.  She was born July 20, 1971, in Norman, Oklahoma, and was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.  Brandi was a creative writer, earned a degree in sociology/criminology, was an avid true crime enthusiast and collected Star Wars memorabilia. 

Brandi always wanted to have a large family, and she ‘adopted’ those who were close to her children.  She was very kind natured and always saw the best in everyone.  She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Brandi is survived by her mother, Pamela Winblood; her daughter, Raven Wahkinney and wife Rebecca; son, William Weber; brother, Geoffrey Scott Grissom; daughter, Keri Weber and husband Ahmed; granddaughter, Mya McLain-Dotter; her former husbands, Mike Weber and Joey Wahkinney; her fiancé, Jeff Hayes; her canine companion, Moogle; dog sister, "White Dog"; and life-long friend, Traci Gilleland.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, William F. Winblood; her husband, Russell Hudson; sister, Kae Dawn Winblood; and dog, Lulu.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Susan Sharp for her friendship and love given to Brandi over the years.  Also, thank you to her ‘other brother’, Jeff Baird; soloists, Charlie Osborne and Mike Allen; friend, Tracy; Dr. Gary and Sharon Ratliff; and to all who have sent beautiful flowers, food, prayers and condolences.
