Dana Carroll Wilson Pascucci was born November 6, 1949 in Liberal, KS to Lenora and A. Kay Wilson. She passed into heaven on Monday morning, September 10, in Norman at the age of 68 surrounded by her husband, son, and daughter.
She grew up in Hooker, OK and Norman, OK and graduated in the class of 1968 from Norman High School. After graduation, she enrolled in the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and earned a degree in Fashion Merchandizing in 1972. Notably, she was runner-up Miss OU.
She was married in 1972 to Perry Pascucci and they enjoyed nearly 46 years together. She was a homemaker while her children were young and later retired after a 20 year career in field marketing for Hallmark. She developed strong and lasting friendships with her coworkers on the Hallmark team.
She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement with such activities as leading Bible Study Fellowship groups and attending her children and grandchildren’s many activities. She and Perry are big supporters of OU athletics and loved going to OU football and basketball games. She was very active in Daughters of Sorosis and developed deep friendships with her sisters in that organization. Her favorite pass times were shopping; decorating; and giving gifts to friends, family, and strangers. She loved to entertain friends and family and was always the first to be called when any help was needed. She always gave it.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kaylen Melton.
She is survived by her Husband Perry of Norman, her son Daniel Pascucci and his wife Kami of Edmond, and her daughter Kaitlin Brister and her husband Austin of Goldsby whose children are Tyler and Asher Brister.
Most of all, Dana loved the Lord with all her heart soul and mind. She loved to share the good news of the gospel of Christ with anyone she met. She loved her family and dogs fiercely and was loved greatly in return. She will be dearly missed.
