Dennis Lee Gibson

Dennis Lee Gibson, 60, of Noble passed away Thursday, October 4th, 2018. He was born May 30th, 1958 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Maurice and Bonnie (Blue Eyes) Gibson.

He grew up in Midwest City, attended Del City High School where he was active in many sports. He went to trade school for plumbing, heat and air. He worked 30 years for Metals Containers in OKC as an Electrician. He was very mechanically inclined and could fix anything. He was everyone’s favorite handy man. He loved watching OU football and OKC Thunder. By far his favorite hobby was fishing. Any spare time he had, he was on the water. He was a quarter Choctaw and very proud of his heritage.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Bonnie and his son, Casey. Dennis is survived by his ex-wife Lanette Gibson, daughter Leah Gibson, his brother Steve Gibson, and sisters, Cheryl Gibson and Elizabeth Crow, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends and family from 3pm to 8pm Monday, October 8th, 2018 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Funeral Services will begin at 2pm, Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Scott Meiers, 3401 Havenbrook Street in Norman with interment following at Noble IOOF Cemetery, 8399 Main St, Noble.
