Dennis Leo Scott

Dennis Doc Scott of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the age of 72. He was born on October 4, 1949, to parents Leo Wilburn Scott and Delores Brand Scott.

He served as an Oklahoma City police officer for 33 years and enjoyed teaching at the academy as an emergency vehicle operator and police instructor. After retiring from law enforcement, he spent his retirement serving mission trips through the Oklahoma Baptist Relief Organization and as a youth counselor at Falls Creek. When he didn't have a new book in his hand, he was fishing or creating his own new recipe in the kitchen.

He is survived by his wife Lu Drayton Scott.
