Donna Diane (Hall) White passed into her heavenly home on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016.  Donna or Don Don as she was affectionately known by her family, was born to her parents John and Ruby Hall on Aug. 4, 1956.  She graduated from Norman High School in 1975 and worked 40 years for Griffin Memorial Hospital in the food service department.
Donna felt great joy in the simple things in life, including watching TV, mainly Grey’s Anatomy, In the Heat of the Night, General Hospital, and Law and Order SVU, playing games on her phone, OU football and Saturday morning breakfast with her family.
Donna truly loved unconditionally, especially her family which includes those that survive her: her son Tim White, grandchildren Kaitlyn, Hailey, Ashton, and Devin; her father John and stepmother Regina of Norman, OK; four sisters Debra Lewis and spouse Steve, Peggy Hunter and spouse Walter, Paula Fountain and spouse Tony, Janice Broms, and one brother Jeff Hall and spouse Jim Cain; and two stepsisters Marla Tharp and spouse Gary, and Sharla Bare and spouse Mike.  She is also survived by 5 nephews and 2 nieces including a special niece, Kerri Strickland and 13 great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other family and friends that will miss her sweet loving demeanor.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ruby, and her nephews Walter Hunter, Jr. and Casey Lewis, as well as her grandparents.
Services will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, with burial following at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Our family chain is broken, along with our hearts, fly high sweet sister, you will truly be missed, we are all better people for having had you in our lives.  We love you.
