Dora Lee Reel 2/1/31 to 3/12/19 Dora Lee Reel, 88, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2019. She was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma on February 1, 1931 to Thomas Edward and Edna Mae (White) English. Dora grew up in Kingfisher, Oklahoma and raised her family in Arkansas and Oklahoma. She received a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas in Business Education and Art. She was an avid reader and loved to study languages, cooking, and anything to do with old timey or old-fashioned ways. She taught quilting, tatting, crocheting, and knitting classes at local shops in Norman, and also enjoyed teaching herself to weave, play the piano and guitar. She loved spending time painting, drawing, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, watching old western movies and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward English and Edna Mae English; her husband, Milton Edward Reel; and her son, Anthony (Tony) Milton Forest Reel. Dora is survived by her brother Glenn Arthur English of Paris Arkansas; her children, Rusty Lee Reel of Arkansas, Richard Dale Reel of Delaware, Arkansas, Susan Kay (Reel) Boehrer and spouse Terry William Boehrer of Washington, OK, William (Bill) Paul Reel, Lisa A. and her spouse, and Charlie Joe Reel of Arkansas. Dora was a Grandma (Munga) to Misty Claunts, Jesse Reel, Brent Reel, Matthew Reel, Adale Antrim, Rachel Cox, Jonnie Reed, Tyler Boehrer, Maddy Boehrer, Bobby Hammond, Ashley Hammond, Sterling Arnett, Tony Reel, and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00PM Monday March 18, 2019 at Washington Cemetery in Washington, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a Center for Children and Families in Norman, Oklahoma.
