Faye Elizabeth 'Becky' Cook

Faye Elizabeth ‘Becky’ Cook passed away on July 15, 2022, at age 78, in Noble, Oklahoma.  Becky was born December 31, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Ira James Weidler and Suzanne Mary Gabus.

Becky was a devoted mother and wife, married to the 17th Chief of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Jerry Cook.  They married August 31, 1962, and had a daughter, Jennifer, in 1966.  Becky was passionate about animals. She actively donated to and visited WildCare in Noble, Oklahoma.  They lived on five acres on Lake Thunderbird and often had rehabilitated animals released on their property.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bryan Wilson; her half sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Darrell Jones and their family.  Her husband, Jerry, preceded her in death in 2021.
