David and Jan I was sorry to receive an email from Mark about the passing of George, you have been blessed to have him with you for so long. My Sympathy, love and Prayers are with you all. You all will have many happy memories to share with each other in the future. God Bless you all.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. My experience with George in the Army and all the visits at our Tank reunions was that type of a person. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally! May God Bless you all during this time of sorry.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Mr Donohue. No words could ever convey the pain of your heart but our loving Creator and Heavenly Father does know. He has promised that very soon this enemy death and the things that bring our heart pain will be a distant memory-Hosea 13:14. Until then please know that He is close to those broken at heart and those crushed in spirit he saves-Psalm 34:18. It is my hope that these passages, along with your loving memory of Mr Donohue, comfort your heart and give you a measure of peace during this most difficult time.

I was fortunate to meet and visit with George, a few years back, when he and other family members came to Illinois for a family reunion. He was an especially fine gentleman. God Bless.

Uncle George will be so very missed. He was such a sweet, funny, dear man and I am so happy (and lucky) that he was my great uncle and that I have so many happy memories of him. God bless your soul, Uncle George.

It was so wonderful that the Oklahoma folks came to the Donahue reunion at Chatsworth a few years ago and we got acquainted. May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Teresa
