Gloria Elizabeth Preston

Gloria Elizabeth Trout Preston of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 69.  Gloria was born on July 6, 1952, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Jack and Louise Trout.  She attended Oklahoma State University and Wichita State University, and ultimately obtained a law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1989.  Gloria had her own firm in Oklahoma City for many years but made her home in Norman.  Gloria enjoyed spending time with her dogs, reading and playing the piano.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Louise Trout of Ponca City, her parents-in-law, Paul and Millie Preston of McAlester, and her brother-in-law, Terry Preston, of Sand Springs.  She is survived by her husband Sam of the home and beloved dogs Joe and Maggie.  She is also survived by her sisters, Edwina Trout and husband Bob Evans of Oklahoma City, and Julie Lombardi of Owasso, as well as nieces Caroline Philley and husband David of Houston, TX, and Megan Lombardi of Fayetteville, AR.  She is additionally survived by a nephew, Brennan Lombardi of Tahlequah, and a great-nephew, James Philley of Houston, TX, and two brothers-in-law, Leon Preston of McAlester and Larry Preston of Norman.

Memorials may be made in memory of Gloria to the Second Chance Animal Sanctuary in Norman, Oklahoma.
