Gordon Jerome Frazier
October 10, 1935 ~ August 31, 2023 (age 87) 87 Years Old
Gordon Jerome Frazier went to his heavenly home on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was blessed to be at his Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, home the day of his passing. He was born October 10, 1935, in Dalhart, Texas, to Ruby Lloyd Frazier and Ozias Frazier.
Gordon grew up in Dalhart, Texas, graduating from Dalhart High School in 1954. Gordon served in the U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Army National Guard from January 1953 through June 1962. Additionally, Gordon worked as a telegrapher for the Missouri Pacific Railroad in 1955. He proudly served the U.S. Postal Service for 54 ½ years.
Gordon was preceded in death by his daughters, Claudia Christine Frazier and Rebecca ‘Becky’ Sue Bane; grandson, Mathew Price; his parents, Ruby Lloyd Frazier (Cash) and Ozias Frazier; sister, Billie Maurine Sprague; and brothers, Raymond, Robert Earl, Richard, Larry, Michael, and Homer.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Frazier of Oklahoma City, OK; five children: daughter, Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Bert (Dave) of Mt. Pleasant, PA; son, Kelly Jerome Frazier of Amarillo,TX; and three daughters, Rhonda Dewell, Kimberly Tramposh, and Gaitha Milligan (Ronald), all of Oklahoma; one brother, Ronald Frazier of Henderson NV; two sisters, Geri Jones of Lubbock,TX, and Desirie House of Brownwood, TX; grandchildren, Mark Bane (Marsha) of Amarillo,TX, Leila Ann Scarborough (Chris) of Amarillo,TX, Josh David Bert of Mt. Pleasant, PA, Jimmie Dye, Morgan Dye (Jeremy), Doug Dewell (Heather), Brandon Dewell, Dustin Campbell, Jack Campbell, all of Oklahoma; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins that love him and will miss him.
