I send my heartfelt condolences to Melanie and Cee Cee and other family and friends of Susie. Susie was a very good friend to my mother and then to me. I will miss Susie very, very much. She had a great sense of humor and a perspective on the world that was calming. A conversation with her always left you feeling better.

Dear Girls, When Madeline called me about your Mothers death, just told her that I would prefer to think of this world with her still in it. I know the emptiness you can feel when you lose your Mother and I am sorry for your loss. It is truly a lonelier world without a mother in it. I never talked to your mother that we both didn't cry from laughing so much, regardless of the topic. She always made things better. Lets get together and we can share Susie stories and laugh until we cry! Love, Annette Jackson Hawkins
