Dona,
Sorry to hear that Jerry passed away. We enjoyed getting back together with you both when we overlapped in Bartlesville for awhile. Jerry was always fun to be around and fun to work with.
After I retired a couple of years ago we moved to Grand Isle, VT. We still get back to OK now and then, two of our boys are in Tulsa.

Dona, My thoughts are with you at this time. Jerry was such a fun loving, witty and humorous man and I so enjoyed working with the two of you. I think the both of you made a good choice when you got together. He will be missed by many. He was one of a kind.

We are deeply sorry for your loss. Lori and I only recently met Jerry when he and Dona moved to The Springs. After reading this wonderful tribute to Jerry, we are so sorry we didn't get the chance to meet him much earlier in his life. Deepest sympathy to Dona and the rest of the family.

I am so glad I was able to live with my Uncle Jerry the winter of 1976 in Alberta Canada. That was a special time for me because I was able to develop a bond with my young cousins Jerilyn and Matthew. Aunt Marilyn was in Saskatchewan with Tonya, but I was able to see them over the Easter Break. Thank you Uncle Jerry for taking the time to teach me to cross country ski, and to take Jerilyn and me to those diving lessons! Jerilyn, do you remember coming out after our lessons and our hair freezing? Thank you too for allowing me to see the Northern Lights every night that winter. I so enjoyed learning to play guitar and chess with my young cousin Matthew! I have you to thank Uncle Jerry for so many fond memories! When I stopped to visit with the family in Ponca City while on my road trip across the country in 1983, you encouraged me to stop my rambling after being medically retired from the Air Force to get back in school! I took your advice and moved to Stillwater to resume my studies at Oklahoma State University! I didn't think I'd stay this long, but I am now looking back on the years, having and raising 3 wonderful children who I am very proud of! And now, I have to say my final good bye to you dear uncle, but I know it is only temporary. I will see you again one day and watch those Northern Lights with you with awe of our wonderful Creator, and all He has given to us! Rest in Peace Uncle Jerry.
