Kenneth Pitt, age 91, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020. Kenneth was born Sept. 22, 1928 to Fred Pitt and Mata lee (Campbell) Pitt.
Kenneth grew up in Norman, Oklahoma and attended Norman High School. He married Margaret Fuller on March 18, 1949.
He had become a mechanic and worked for Warden & Son International Dealer, which later became Norman Truck & Equipment; also Baker Brothers International, retiring from Ryder.
He loved camping with Margaret and enjoyed the friendship he made over the years while camping. His hobbies were making knives and carving ducks. He also enjoyed creating an oasis in his backyard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Bob Pitt.
He is survived by his two sons, Kenneth P. Pitt and wife Aljnita and Jimmy L. Pitt and wife Kim, and his 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Kenneth attended Westside Church of Christ until he and Margaret became home bound.
In the last year and a half, he lived at Brookdale Assisted Living where he was welcomed with open arms and he fell in love with everyone and began calling it home.
