Laurie Louise Boyle passed into the arms of her Savior on February 27, 2021. She suffered a brief illness.
She was born to Phil and Dolores Boyle in Oklahoma City on July 28, 1950.
Laurie attended Harding High School, Christian College, and the University of Oklahoma. She grew up in a time when Elvis, Motown, Beatles, and The Beach Boys were popular. Laurie loved Kenny Loggins. She knew all the lyrics to every song. She also loved dogs, decorating with white, angels, shopping, and growing plants. She remembered everyone’s name and acknowledged family members on their birthdays. She never met a stranger.
Laurie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Dail and Jim Cobb of Norman; nephew, Phil Cobb of Los Angeles; niece, Sydney and husband Grant McCurdy and their children Connor and Mae of Ft. Worth.
She is also survived by her aunt, Betty Replogle of Oklahoma City; many cousins; and her special friend, Vernon Gorton.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Dolores Boyle.
A private family service was held at All Soul’s Episcopal Church on June 5, 2021.
