Le Thi Quyen, age 91, of Norman, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on November 20, 2022. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by the love of family. She was born on September 21, 1931, in My Tho, Tien Giang, Vietnam, the 8th of 18 children. Quyen was preceded in death by her husband, Chau Van Hue, and her daughter, Chau Thi Kim Cuong.
Quyen grew up in Saigon, Vietnam. She enjoyed spending time in the countryside and attending family reunions every year. After marrying her husband, Chau, they had eight children before he passed away. She remained a widow for over 50 years.
Quyen became a Christian at the age of 50 and had a heart of love for God and for others. In 2016, she moved to the United States and became a permanent resident and enjoyed traveling the States. For the last few years of her life, she was loved and cared for dearly by her family.

Chau Thi Kim Ngoc (husband, Nguyen Hoang Dat)

10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service was held on November 24, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The family also held a private gathering on December 4, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma.
