Linda Margaret (Drummer) Shaw

Linda Margaret Shaw, age 73, of Norman, passed away October 22, 2021.  She was born on October 28, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Roy and Eugenia Drummer.  In 1966, she graduated from Ardel High School.  Linda married the lover her life, Jimmy Dale Shaw, on March 28, 1970.

They adopted Bridget Lynn Shaw as a young girl, a former foster child, knowing she was handicapped.  Linda loved Bridget as her own. 

Linda was a very organized person and served as a Girl Scout Leader.  She enjoyed crafting, especially ceramics, knitting and crocheting.  She worked with her husband, Jim, at Homeland Grocery Store as a baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dale Shaw; and daughter, Bridget Lynn Shaw.  She is survived by her brother, Steven Roy Drummer, Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 am, on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.  Interment will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
