Linnie Ruth Cargal Gray

Linnie Ruth Cargal Gray, age 81, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022.  She was born December 28, 1940, near Durant, Oklahoma, to the late Chick and Nancy Cargal.  Linnie was a long-time resident of Norman, Oklahoma, and was a member of the Norman Community Church of the Nazarene.  She retired after many years as a laboratory technician at Shaklee Corporation.

Linnie enjoyed decorating for the holidays, and she loved to travel.  She visited many places, including Alaska, Scotland and Australia.  At the age of 74, she went ziplining in New Zealand.

Linnie is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Kent Ritchie, Deborah and Craig Meget; one sister, Ann Canen; one half-brother, Chick Cargal; four grandchildren, Jeanette Henson, Maegen Dover, Hunter Meget and his wife Savannah, and Sydney Meget; four great grandchildren, Daxton Henson, Logan Dover, Ella Meget and Abigail Meget; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linnie was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Gray; four sisters, Mildred Ingram, Deana Tarrant, Carolyn Erliche and Hazel Garner; four brothers, Hoyt Cargal, Kenneth Cargal, Houston Cargal and John Paul Cargal; and two great grandchildren, Jordan Meget and Keegan Meget.
