Lloyd Thomas “Tommy” Castillo of Norman, Oklahoma, born on December 9th, 1988 passed away the morning of October 5th, 2018. Tommy was born at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma to Mother, Melodie Hopkins, and Father, Andy Castillo. Tommy attended school in Noble, Oklahoma and after completion joined the US Army Reserve with whom he served as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Specialist in the 360th Chemical Company out of Norman, Oklahoma until he was honorably discharged in 2013. Tommy enjoyed spending his time fishing, rebuilding cars with his friends, working on computers, spending time outdoors, and being with his family and friends.
Tommy is survived by his son, Riley; daughter, Emmirson; brother, Nathan and wife, Sarah Plunkett; nieces Espin and Denver; mother, Melodie Hopkins; grandmother, Alice Ann Ravenscroft; and the love of his life, Melanie Burciaga. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin James Ravenscroft; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Thomasson.
Viewing will be held at Havenbrook Funeral Home located at 3401 Havenbrook Street, Norman, OK 73072 on Wednesday, October 10th between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and Thursday, October 11th between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Services will be held at Havenbrook Funeral Home on Friday October 12th at 1:00 pm.
Donations may be made in memory of Tommy to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or the Oklahoma Wildlife Foundation. Flowers may be sent to Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, Oklahoma.
Tommy was well-loved by his family and friends and will be sorely missed.
