Michael Blain Meyer, age 37, of Norman, passed away November 23, 2020. Born May 17, 1983, in Norman, Blain worked in the family business, Meyer Brothers Construction. He loved racing and anything that went fast, building things with his hands, and traveling with his wife, Lindsey.
Blain had true grit and was very independent from the time he was born. He did things his way and in his own time. Because of his stubborn nature, it was hard to change his mind if he had a strong opinion on a subject.
He loved spending time with family and watching Emma and his nieces and nephews interacting when they were being their silliest.
Larger than life, he had big hands, a big presence and a big, gentle heart.
He is survived by his wife, Lindsey Meyer; daughter, Emma Marie; Mother, Debbie Reddell; father and step mother, Bruce and Twilia Meyer; sister, Monica Schat and her husband Russell; brother, Keith Meyer and his wife Kallee; and nieces and nephews, Cameron Meyer, Beau Meyer, Maysen Meyer, Christian Nipper, Emily Nipper, Joe Schat and Heidi Hiler. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his cousin, Joe Meyer.
