Neldean Teaphia Gallaher

February 18, 1932 ~ November 19, 2017 (age 85) 85 Years Old
Neldean T. Gallaher was born as Neldean T. Folsom went to be with the Lord on November 19th, 2017.  Neldean was born on February 18th, 1932 to Esther and Sampson Folsom in Atoka, Oklahoma.  Neldean was the 3rd child of 4 children: Jerry, Bill (both deceased) and Sam who lives in Hot Springs Arkansas.  Neldean graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City in 1950.  Neldean married Willard Gallaher her high school sweetheart in September of 1950 and were married for 63 years.  Willard and Neldean moved to Alexandria, Louisiana for 2 years while Willard was in the Air Force.  They then moved back to Oklahoma City in 1952.  Neldean had one son Clark Gallaher and 2 daughters, Andrea and Katherine.  Neldean also opened her heart and her home to many foster children through the years as well.  Neldean leaves her family Clark and wife Jin Sun Gallaher, Andrea Sherwood, Katherine Curley and husband Randal Curley.  Neldean had 5 grandchildren: Apryl Skipper and husband Brandon Skipper, Austyn LeeAnn Scudder, James Clark Gallaher, Jennifer Gallaher and Nathan Marmaduke.  Neldean had 4 great grandchildren: Shealynn Skipper, Jadon Skipper, Pierce Skipper and Heavenly Sneathen.  Neldean was very dedicated to all that she did including work.  She had a strong work ethic and was a civil service worker for 15 years for Tinker Air Force Base.  She was a member of Glorieta Baptist Church for years.  She fully loved being a member and serving in the church.  She worked, volunteered and did all she could as a member.  Neldean loved her family and loved traveling with her husband throughout the years.  The highlight of her life were her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Neldean always wanted to do whatever she could for her family.  Neldean’s husband Willard Gallaher went to be with the Lord January 6th of 2014.   Neldean was a very forgiving, caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was devoted to her family.  Neldean was compassionate and generous to family, friends, neighbors and her church and would do anything she could to help them.
