Patty Kay Smith- Also known as “Sadie”, went to see the Lord on Sunday, May 16th, 2021, at the age of 69. Patty was born on February 14, 1952 to Helen Richardson and Orville Steward. She was a life-long resident of Norman, OK where she married her husband Norman Smith and raised her two sons and two daughters. Patty had a passion for animals especially the many dogs she had throughout her life. One would be hard-pressed to find dogs with more crazy, unique names than the ones that she tagged on her pets. This game was also passed along to every one of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nobody escaped without her own personal nickname, that also stuck with that person no matter how old they were. She was known by her outgoing personality and would never be accused of meeting a stranger. She loved her family and she loved the LORD.
Patty is survived by her husband of 54 years, Norman Smith, her children, Angela Smith, Brigitte Smith, Micky Smith, Justin Smith (spouse Jenni Smith). Her spirit and legacy will live on through her seven grandchildren: Courtney Alexander, Brooklyne Conrad, Chasen Riehl, Cole Alexander, Jordan Ridgway, Noah Smith and Willow Smith and great grandchildren: Emersyn Everly and Elliot Conrad, Sam and Mason Ridgway.
She is preceded by her grandmother Cordie Allbritton, her parents Helen and Orville, three older brothers, David, Tommy and Bobby Richardson, daughter-in-law Ashley Smith and grandson Noah Smith.
