Peggy Janet Gardner

Peggy Janet Gardner, of Norman, passed away May 10, 2021 at the age of 81.  She was born November 30, 1939, to the late Spurgeon and Vera Hopper.  Peggy lived on 80 acres in Etowah, Oklahoma, until she married her first husband, Earl Morren.  In 1980, Peggy was remarried to the love of her life, Lanny Gardner, who preceded her in death on January 22, 2020. 

She was employed by the City of Norman Water Department for 30 ½ years until retirement.  Peggy loved to travel, go to the casinos and visit with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Milly Smith and husband Bob; Blair Grove and family; one daughter, Sherri Janet Ormes and husband Dennis; one grandson, Justin Richards and wife Kasey; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and second husband, Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Grove.
