Dick Liddell, 84, of Norman, died Wednesday, April 18. Memorial service will be at 1:00pm, Thursday, April 26, at Crosspointe Church in Norman with Joe Grizzle officiating, followed by spreading of ashes at Robs Ranch in Purcell.
He was born June 19th 1933 to Clyde and Norma Liddell. He grew up in Shawnee until his sophomore year of high school. He then moved to Ardmore, where he met the love of his life Betty Lou. He and Betty raised two children, Suzanne and Robby.
He was a builder, developer and founded Commercial Brick Corporation. He started Willow Spring Boys Home and Clay Crossing substance abuse center. Seven years ago he started Rob’s Ranch; a Christ centered addiction treatment facility.
His generosity overflowed from every part of his being. He loved Jesus, his family and friends, and everyone was a friend.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, three brothers, one sister and his son, Robby. He is survived by, wife Betty, his sister Doris Dahl, his sister-in-law Jean Liddell, daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Kelly Rose, daughter-in-law Leslie; grandchildren Katie and Nathan Kain, Luke Rose, Jenny and Joseph Hernandez, Ashley Liddell, Landon Liddell, Isabella Rose, Seth Liddell and Noah Liddell; great- grandchildren, Emery, Jazmine, Alonso, and Andres.
