Robert Harold Douglas

Robert Douglas was born on October 16, 1946, and passed from this life on August 17, 2020 in Norman, OK. After graduating from Midwest City High School he attended O.S.U. where he earned a Bachelor's of Science in Education/Social Studies in 1968. He later received a Master's Degree in Journalism/Creative Writing from O.U. In 1969 he joined the Army and was a linguist in the Army Security Agency stationed in the Washington, D.C. area.

At the time of his passing he was teaching junior high English and Literature at All Saints Catholic School in Norman, OK. He enjoyed the school and the children there very much.  Robert is survived by his mother, his sister, a son, a daughter, three grandsons and two granddaughters. His children and his grandchildren meant everything to him. Robert was a writer, a teacher, a beloved father and grandfather who valued his time with his children, grandchildren and students above all else.
